In 1976 on a brisk September, knowing no one but having heeded to the Lord’s call, a young Ghanaian man landed in Nairobi. Rev. Stephen Boakye-Yiadom’s assignment was to set up Trans World Radio in Kenya as a springboard for the growth of the work in Africa.

Our time with the prisoners revealed deep needs that the inmates have. Their hunger and thirst for the Word of God was palpable. The challenge with personal hygiene is an on-going one, and their need for better place to sleep was evident. We left with a prayer that our next visit will help lessen the hardships they face,
