Time flies by really fast! It seems like it was yesterday when we, together with our friends visited Manyani Maximum Prison within the Tsavo National Park. That was last year November! That time, we took boxes of Bibles, bar soaps,rolls of toilet paper, bales of wheat flour and cooking oil to the over 900 inmates of Manyani Prison. This year we are making a comeback mission to Manyani Prison on Friday 25, November 2016. We are excited at what the Lord is doing!
Our time with the prisoners last year revealed deep needs that the inmates have. Their hunger and thirst for the Word of God was palpable. The challenge with personal hygiene is an on-going one, and their need for better place to sleep was evident. We left with a prayer that our next visit will help lessen the hardships they face, and this year God, through our friends has provided a 3inch mattress for each inmate! We praise God for this!!!
However, we still need another gift of rolls of toilet papers and bar soap for each inmate. We are also trusting God to take men's clothes. These are clothes they will use upon release, since many have nothing to wear after many years of life behind bars.
We encourage you to be part of this noble mission, again, by;
a) Remembering us in prayer at this time.
b) Praying for the men behind bars at Manyani Prison and the Wardens who watching over them.
c) Reaching out with a gift of 2 dollars OR 200 Kenyan Shillings which enable us purchase a barsoap & a tissue roll for a prisoner.
You can donate via or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Last year’s mission was successful because of numerous partners, among them were Africa Gospel Church; All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi; AIC Langata, Kim Fay Limited.
Hebrews 13:3 Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
