I love music, I love listening to the creativity that people have when creating great music, from the instruments to the lyrics and the voice that passes the message. I don’t know if you have ever experienced a song or songs that speak to you in a season but for sure I have.
A few weeks ago during our morning devotions, we learnt about praise and worship. This reminded me of the many times I got through a tough season in my life by singing or praising my way through it. A particular song or songs ministered to me in ways I cannot explain, they gave me hope, strengthened my faith in Jesus.

Have you had seasons when it’s hard to pray or read the word of God, but a song ministers to your situation enabling you to communicate with God?
Psalm 95 vs 1-3 says Oh come, let us sing to the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God and the great King above all gods.
I encourage you to sing that song, praise…cry…. confess. If that’s the best way to communicate with God in your season when the words to a song best expressed your feelings. I know I have done that so many times and for sure I have felt much better and grown stronger in Christ.
