It is always a great delight to for us to receive and share testimonies from our listeners on how God is using our programs to transform their lives.
We received a letter from a listener in Kigoma Tanzania who has been listening to our through the bible series also known as Neno Litaendelea. For now, let us call him Shady. 'Shady' shared of how the devotions have not only strengthen his faith but have also been his source of hope and encouragement whenever he is down and feeling heavy-laden.
This is his testimony letter.
Praise God. I thank God for enabling me to continue listening to you through radio Joy FM here at home in Kigoma Tanzania. I thank God that the station still runs the through the Bible series every evening. Right now Pastor Geoffrey Wanjala Munialo is almost finishing the journey in Galatians.
I want to say that your devotions have been my great source of encouragement that has seen through my life challenges. Sometimes I feel heartbroken and that the Lord is late on me. However, When I listen to your devotions am greatly blessed and my hope is restored as I go through this journey to heaven.
I also thank God for the books you sent to me & even a Christmas Card. My spiritual life has greatly been strengthened especially the book Kuza Imani (Food for Faith). Reading through Chapter 5 of the book on the Importance of Faith has been of great help.
Your teachings are a great blessing because you do not teach or concentrate on material things or receiving earthly blessings. Like others base their teachings on do this and receive a car, receive a house, etc. You teach us my showing us that all blessings come from God and it happens at His own will and timing.
My request is you continue with the good work and send me more books to strengthen my faith as we prepare for our journey to heaven.
I will continue to pray for you that the devil will never catch up with you in anyway. I pray for blessings for Radio Joy and all your partner stations that enable me to listen to your programs.
May God bless you. I also request that if it is possible you can send me any of Trans World Radio Kenya or that of Pastor so that I can frame it and put it in my sitting room.
Yours trustingly Shaddy
Wow! Great encouragement. Shaddy’s testimony alongside many other testimonies that we receive daily from our listeners are also our source of motivator and reminder of the presence of God in all that we do. Indeed laboring for the Lord is never in vain.
It is important to share testimonies of the Lord’s doing in our lives just as Apostle Paul reminds us in his letter to the young Pastor Timothy as it is written in 2nd Timothy 1:8
"So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God."
Paul gave the young Pastor Timothy some great advice that we should all take to heart about sharing our testimony. Even in our sufferings as humans God’s testimony is still in existence and we should never forget that even Christ our savior underwent great suffering to an extent that he asked God to take away from Him the suffering cup. Luke 22:39-44
