Africa Inland Church Ngong Hills is parched near the very top of the Ngong hills. It is near the famous windmills which can be seen from far off near Nairobi. The air around this place is fresh and chilly, yet every Sunday, both the old and young troop in to worship God and fellowship together. Reverend Samuel Wanderi is the senior Pastor at this Church. He is an affable young man who made us feel at home in this very cold environment on top of the famous hills.

TWR Kenya’s visit to AIC Ngong hills was the first visit in the month of February. Every month TWR Kenya visits two Churches to worship with the congregation, empower the leadership and distribute Bibles. This is the time to re-connect with those who support this ministry with their donations and prayers. It is a time to share with them what God is doing through their support.

It is our custom to visit Churches with Bibles and Evangelism materials. Unfortunately, by the time of visiting we had not yet received bibless so we were not able to carry any with us. But we promised to return to the Church to train the leadership of the region and with an assortment of Bibles as the need was visible.

The congregation at Christ Is The Answer Ministry(CITAM) Embakasi was lucky, though! On Sunday 8 March, a whole team from TWR Kenya led by Sifa FM General Manager, Pamela Omwodo, visited the Church with an assortment of Bibles. The CITAM congregation is part of the support bases that is always praying and supporting the TWR Kenya Ministry. We were here to give a report of what their support had done. Thanks to you and CITAM Embakasi, programming at Lamu SifaFM and mission work among the Oromo of Moyale in Kenya and southern Ethiopia has been strengthened. Secondly, your support continues to contribute greatly to technical upgrades at Sifa FM stations in North Eastern.

We are grateful to Senior Pastor Juliet Mahugu of CITAM Embakasi who gave us an opportunity to give an update of what God has been doing through TWR Ministry in Kenya. And we appreciate the members support and prayers

We are grateful to God for His favor that we can visit Churches to worship with them and share how they can partner with Trans World Radio Kenya. As an interdenominational ministry, we serve all Churches and are a bridge for all churches that want to reach the unreached people groups with the Gospel message.

Through these Church visits, we discover training needs within the Church that TWR Kenya can help meet. This could be empowering Sunday School teachers, Media ministry, Resource Mobilization, Church planting and Church growth, among others. We are always visiting and fellowshipping together.

There is one more Church to visit in March and two in April. We shall be sharing with you what God is doing through TWR Kenya in these Churches, and how Churches can use TWR Kenya for their outreaches. For now, it is Ebenezer!
