After months of research and a chain of consultative meetings, the day finally arrived for Trans World Radio Kenya and The Anglican Church of Kenya through Carlile Collage (Church Army Africa) to enter into an official agreement.

Through the partnership, the college’s theology students will be equipped with integrated radio teaching and training in media so that they can effectively minister and use media as a platform in their outreach.

Speaking during the MOU signing The Anglican Church of Kenya Archbishop Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit welcomed the partnership adding that technology is changing evangelism and it’s no longer about sharing the gospel on the pulpit alone and if we bring our knowledge and expertise together we make the greatest impact.

TWR Kenya's Executive Director Bernice Gatere also welcomed adding that TWR’s core partner is the Church and it is a wonderful opportunity to work together in equipping God's servants. “This is a true demonstration of unity for Christ and one body.

Other than enabling the ministers learn to embrace media in evangelism, they will also get an opportunity to prepare and record radio programs that will be air on TWR’sSIFA FM network

Among those present during the signing ceremony were Church Army Africa General Secretary Rev Capt. Richard Mayabi, ACK Missions Director Rev John Mark, ACK Director of Education Mr. Wilberforce Wangalwa, Enos Changulo from TWR's Church Relations Department, Geoffrey Otieno from TWR's Audience Relations department, & Tish Munga TWR/SIFA FM Markerting Department.
